All products are custom-made based on the specifications provided, and production timelines will vary according to material, technique, size, and design complexity.
The M Atelier offers a range of handcrafted products categorized by type and technique, including:
- Bedding: Quilts, Duvet Covers
- Pillows & Throws: Throws, Cushions
- Rugs: Recycled Rag, Jute & Natural
- Techniques: Applique, Printed, Shibori & Tie-Dye, Patchwork, Natural Dyed
To place an order, customers must submit an official order form via the Website, providing detailed product specifications, including fabric type, rug size, colors, and any other customizations.
3. Payment Terms
100% Prepaid Orders: All orders must be fully prepaid before production begins. No orders will be processed without full payment confirmation.
Payments can be made via PayPal, debit/credit card, or other approved payment methods as specified by The M Atelier.
4. Production & Lead Times
Textiles: The estimated lead time for textile orders is approximately 45 days.
Custom Rugs: The lead time for custom rug orders ranges from 90 to 120 days, depending on factors such as:
- Material (silk, linen, bamboo, hemp, etc.)
- Technique (handwoven, hand-tufted, knotted, etc.)
- Size & complexity of the design
Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated upon order confirmation. Please note that production and delivery timelines may vary.
5. Changes & Cancellations
Order Cancellations: As all products are custom-made, orders cannot be canceled once production has commenced.
Changes to Orders: Any changes to the order (such as size, color, or materials) must be submitted in writing within 7 days of placing the order. Changes may result in revised pricing and updated lead times.
6. Delivery & Shipping
Delivery Terms: Specific delivery terms, including delivery dates and shipping methods, will be provided upon order confirmation.
Shipping Costs: All product prices are inclusive of shipping costs. There are no additional charges for standard shipping.
Shipping Policy: The M Atelier ships domestically and internationally. Shipping timelines vary based on location and courier services. Customers will receive tracking details upon dispatch.
Delays: The M Atelier is not liable for delays caused by external factors such as customs processing, transportation issues, or any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
7. Quality & Variations
As all products are handcrafted, slight variations in color, texture, and weave may occur. These variations are an inherent part of the artisanal process and are not considered defects.
Swatch books should be reviewed carefully prior to placing orders to ensure a proper understanding of the materials, textures, and colors.
Care & Assembly: Customers are advised to follow the Care & Assembly instructions provided on the website to ensure the longevity and proper maintenance of their products.
8. Returns & Claims
Returns: As all products are made to order, returns are not accepted under any circumstances.
Claims for Defects or Damages: If a product is received damaged or defective, the buyer must notify within 48 hours of receipt. Claims should be accompanied by supporting photos and detailed descriptions. The M Atelier will evaluate the claim and determine an appropriate course of action.
Resolution: If a defect or damage claim is validated, The M Atelier will either repair the product, offer a replacement, or provide a refund, depending on the nature of the issue.
9. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
All designs, patterns, and product concepts remain the intellectual property of The M Atelier.
Promotional Use: Custom designs created in collaboration with designers may be featured in promotional materials, marketing, or other promotional channels unless otherwise agreed in writing by The M Atelier and the designer.
By purchasing custom products from The M Atelier, you agree that the Company may use images of custom designs for promotional purposes, unless otherwise stated.
10. Ethical Sourcing & Artisan Partnerships
The M Atelier is committed to fair trade and ethical sourcing. All products are handcrafted by skilled artisans, ensuring fair wages and sustainable production practices.
